Summer holiday closures

Some of Council's facilities will be closed or have different opening times over the summer holiday period, including our administration building which will close at 3pm on 24 December and reopen at 8.45am on 2 January.

Turn your old textiles into rags for household cleaning.
ONLY good quality clothing, shoes and accessories (what you would pass on to a friend) can be dropped off at the clothing bins located at the Community Recycling Centre located at the Minnamurra Waste and Recycling Facility
Put in your red landfill bin.

Fabric

Kiama Boomerang Bags accept donations of fabric to sew reusable shopping bags, which reduces plastic bag usage and repurposes pre-loved fabrics.

The group accept clean cotton or polyester/cotton mix fabrics such as doona covers, pillowcases, sheets and tablecloths.

Drop off your donations Wednesdays 9.30am-12.30pm at Illuka Reserve Tennis Clubhouse, 41 Flinders Avenue Kiama Downs.
