Destination Event Funding Program

This funding program offers up to $20,000 per event bi-annually to support eligible events that are categorised as major or destination events.

This program aims to:

  • Provide strong leadership, partnership and communication
  • Facilitate sustainable tourism growth
  • Deliver authentic branding and marketing
  • Create a thriving, high quality, event destination
  • Enable tourism investment and development.

Applying for funding

We've recorded a webinar which provides hints and tips for completing your funding application.

If you are successful in your application for funding you will be notified and asked to sign the terms agreement. You may also be asked to provide further planning and reporting documentation.
