Summer holiday closures

Some of Council's facilities will be closed or have different opening times over the summer holiday period, including our administration building which will close at 3pm on 24 December and reopen at 8.45am on 2 January.

Taxi services

Local operator Kiama Cabs shut down in 2023, after serving our municipality, including a rank & hail service, for 30 years. (Kiama Cabs continues to operate a veteran transport and booked group transport service.)

Council sought and received permission from the Point to Point Commissioner for all taxi companies to operate a rank and hail service in Kiama.

Illawarra Taxi Network now operates in Kiama.
