Supporting young drivers

We offer programs that aim to help learner drivers become safe drivers.

We provide these through a partnership with Traffic for NSW, Shellharbour and Wollongong Councils.

Driver workshops are posted to our Events Directory.

Bookings are essential.

Graduated Licencing Scheme Parent Workshops

These workshops support and better prepare parents and supervising drivers for their role in helping make learner drivers safer drivers.

The course covers topics such as:

  • how to plan road driving sessions
  • how to use the Learner Driver Log Book
  • the importance of giving the learner constructive feedback.

Learner Log Book Run

The Log Book Run gives young drivers and their supervisors an opportunity to participate in a planned drive.

The drive follows a route to include a range of driving experiences including:

  • a Random Breath Test (RBT) with police in a non threatening environment
  • a speed check 
  • a Driver Reviver set up to discuss how to deal with fatigue.
