Dementia Champion: Dennis Frost

Dennis Frost has chaired the Advisory Group for Kiama Council’s Dementia Friendly Kiama Project since its inception in 2014.

Dennis has dedicated countless hours, effort and personal resources to this project, and the results speak for themselves.

Dementia Friendly Kiama is now internationally recognised by dementia advocates, researchers and educators.

Dennis has helped establish important working relationships with organisations such as Dementia Australia that have ensured the long-term future of the Dementia Friendly Kiama Project.

Dennis has also become highly sought after as a spokesperson for those living with dementia, both at home and overseas.

It speaks to Dennis’s character and commitment that, wherever and whenever he is, his focus is always the great work being done here in Kiama, and all the people who have made that possible.
