Health and Sustainability Grants

This program supports initiatives and activities that enhance health and environmental sustainability outcomes for local communities.

Council provides $2,000 of funding bi-annually for each not-for profit community organisation or school P&C group (total allocation of $15,000/year).

This program aims to:

  • Enhance health and environmental sustainability outcomes for our community
  • Partner with and support community groups to develop and deliver projects that improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life for our community
  • Provide and promote opportunities for the community to:
    • Engage in regular physical activity
    • Develop skills in sustainable practices
    • Develop knowledge and skills in healthy eating and active living principles
    • Improve the health of the natural environment
    • improve the mental health and wellbeing.
