Compulsory swimwear policy
Swim school and squads
Children up to 3 years
It is compulsory for all babies and preschool age children under 3 years of age to wear our approved Aqua Pants (Happy Nappy) with a disposable swim nappy underneath.
Aqua Pants, and swimsuits and wetsuits with sewn in aqua pants, can be purchased at reception.
No other swimming nappy will be accepted.
If your child (regardless of age) has not been toilet trained for at least 6 months, they must also wear our approved Aqua Pants.
All ages
Must wear tight-fitting swimwear that is tight around the legs to avoid any accidents that may occur.
Loose-fitting swimwear, board shorts, and underwear will not be accepted.
Only recognised swimwear, made from lycra and nylon is to be worn in the pool area.
Long hair must always be tied back.
Wearing a swim cap is recommended to keep hair out of the face and eyes.

Healthy swimming
To avoid accidents and pool closures we ask that you follow the NSW Department of Health Healthy Swimming steps.
Ensure your child:
- goes to the toilet regularly - before and during swimming activities
- wears approved swimwear (outlined above)
- showers and washes thoroughly with soap before entering the pool
- does not swim if they have had diarrhoea in the past 2 weeks
- does not swallow pool water.
