Jamberoo Pool opens 16 November 2024 to 30 March 2025.

Jamberoo pool is an outdoor pool facility staffed by professionally trained lifeguards.

Entry fees 2024-25 (cashless payments only):

  • $4 adults
  • $2 children/student/concession 
  • $10 family

Multi-visit passes are available:

  • $40 Adult (10 visits)
  • $80 Adult (20 visits)
  • $20 Child/Student/Concession (10 visits)
  • $40 Child/Student/Concession (20 visits)

Conditions of Multi-Visit passes

  • Multi-Visit Passes grant the pass holder access to the Jamberoo Pool on any open date for the active season which is accessible to the general public
  • Multi-Visit Passes are available for all persons primary school age and above
  • Multi-Visit Passes can be purchased at the Kiama Leisure Centre (from 11 November 2024) or at Jamberoo Pool (from 16 November 2024)
  • Multi-Visit Passes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash
  • Multi-Visit Passes are valid for the current season ONLY
  • Multi-Visit Passes cannot be copied, reproduced or modified
  • Multi-Visit Pass cards remain the property of Kiama Municipal Council at all times. Visit Passes may be confiscated, cancelled and/or destroyed at the discretion of Kiama Municipal Council for any misuse of the terms and conditions of pool or pass usage.

Payment is by payWave (tapping your card or smartphone).

Fitness Passport is not available for use at this facility.

Pool facilities include:

  • a 4-lane, 18-metre lap pool
  • shaded toddlers wading pool
  • accessibility lift chair

Conditions of entry

  • All children under the age of 10 years must be supervised by a person 16 years and over at all times
  • All children under the age of 5 years must be within arms-reach of an adult at all times
  • Children under school age enter free
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. These terms and conditions may change at any time without notice
  • Jamberoo Pool is a non-smoking/vaping venue
  • There are signs, warnings, rules and instructions placed around the venue for all persons to comply with
  • You and all children under your supervision must comply and follow all instructions given to you by staff
  • Anyone attempting to gain entry without paying or without authorisation will be removed from the venue
  • Persons with stomach illnesses, digestive disorders, open cuts, sores, skin, eye, or respiratory infections are prohibited from using the pool
  • Patrons are not permitted to bring glass objects, or alcohol into the venue. Patron's bags may be searched
  • Any patrons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted into the venue
  • Abusive, disruptive or offensive behaviour and language will not be tolerated. Offenders will be removed from the venue
  • Articles of clothing such as street wear, underwear, cut-off jeans, t-shirts, bike-pants, leotards, casual wear and sporting wear are not to be worn in the pools. 
  • Only recognised swimwear, made from lycra and nylon is to be worn in the pool
  • Only approved waterproof nappies are to be worn in the water for children under the age of 3 years and non- toilet trained children
  • No pets or animals permitted in the venue, with the exception of Assistance Animals
  • Cameras and mobile phone cameras are not permitted in changerooms
  • The use of cameras and mobile phones are limited to photography of your own children. You may be asked by staff to view photos if this is questioned
  • Kiama Municipal Council accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings. Patrons are advised not to bring phones, cameras or wallets to the venue
  • Only staff or contractors approved by management are permitted to conduct learn to swim, private swim lessons and coaching sessions or other commercial and/or business activity and/or enterprise
  • Customers enter the venue at their own risk. Customers release the venue from any and all injury that may be sustained while they are on site, and consent to receiving medical treatment that centre staff may reasonably consider necessary or desirable in the event that they suffer an injury whilst at the venue
  • Large flotation devices and mermaid fins are not permitted
  • Customers who ignore the Conditions of Entry will be asked to leave the venue.
