Werri Beach Progress Hall

In May-June 2022 we renovated the Council owned and operated Werri Beach Progress Hall as part of our Capital Works program.

The youth mural was been temporarily removed so Council can replace some rotten timber cladding, it was re-installed at the completion of the renovation.

The following upgrades were carried out:

External

  • Replacing the roof
  • Removing and replacing the old asbestos eaves linings and gable linings
  • Replacing any damaged and rotten cladding
  • New signage
  • Painting
  • Upgrading the electrical switchboard

Internal

  • Replacing the toilet fixtures and fittings
  • Restoring the hardwood timber floor
  • New wall linings
  • Painting
  • New lighting
  • Air conditioning and heating
  • New kitchen and stove

The works were due completed June 2022. The hall is now re-opened to the public. You can book our community halls online.
