Chapman Oval amenities

Construction of the Chapman Oval Amenities will be commencing Monday 17 April 2023. Access to the section of the Kiama Coast Walk will be restricted during this time, to allow the services to be connected to the amenities. A detour is available via Chapman and Bourrool Streets as an alternative.

Kiama Council is providing an amenities building at Chapman Oval to provide for nearby sports fields used by women’s softball teams.

The work is being funded by a small grant from the NSW Government to promote participation in female sport.

The grant allows for a single accessible unisex toilet which can also function as a small change room.

Due to the topography and existing utility services the amenities needs to be located on the eastern side of the Oval.

The installation of the amenities building is expected to be complete in mid-May 2023.
