Hindmarsh Park Playground Opens Early – Come Test it Out!

Great news for families and park lovers!
The new Hindmarsh Park playground has been completed ahead of schedule, just in time for the upcoming school holidays.
The fencing is down, and the upgraded play space is now open for everyone to enjoy before the official opening event on 21 October 2024.
Kiama Council invites our community to test out the brand-new equipment before the official launch.
The new playground features:
- Towers with rope climbing, bridges, slides, and inclusive play areas
- Inclusive trampoline, musical play equipment, and sensory trail
- Swings, including a pod swing, basket, and baby seats
- Picnic furniture, barbecue, drinking fountain
- Accessible carousel
Council is thrilled to have this community space ready for use earlier than expected.
All that remains of to do is complete the upgrades to the Orry Kelly stage, which will be done in coming weeks.
