The Christmas and holiday period at Council

There's a few changes over December and January that affect Council. We've collated everything here to make it easier for you to find information:

Summer holiday closures - some of Council's facilities will close, or have reduced hours, over the summer holidays.

Additional waste service and temporary changes to existing waste services - Council provide residents with an extra waste service during the silly season!

Beach patrols - Council lifeguards are back on our beaches protecting residents and visitors alike.

Write a letter to Santa - Our Libraries are accepting all of those lovely letters to Santa, in the lead up to Christmas.

Mayor's giving tree - The Giving Tree allows our community to provide gifts for local children (up to 14 years of age) in need.

Kiama and Gerringong Libraries - a great range of activities to keep the kids entertained these summer holiday's

SENTRAL Youth Services - Together with SENTRAL's regular drop-in sessions, they also have an extensive Holiday Program!

Kiama Leisure Centre - are running their epic holiday program.

Destination Kiama - DK have a huge range of events and suggested itineraries for the whole family!
