Let’s talk about arts, creativity and culture.

Kiama Council is developing a fresh cultural plan for our community and wants to hear from you.

Your insights, ideas and passion will contribute to a four-year cultural plan reflecting your creative aspirations.

This a great opportunity for those with a creative bent such as artists, musicians and performers.

But it’s also important for our wider community, residents, business owners, with cultural leanings or involved in creative enterprises to join in.

The aim is to generate an engaging and wide-ranging discussion that will influence what will ultimately guide Kiama Council when it comes to resourcing local arts and culture.

Council is providing a kaleidoscope of ways to get involved in sketching out our cultural plan between now and the end of September, including:

  • Online Survey
  • Interactive ‘dotmocracy’
  • Focus groups
  • Community pop-ups
  • Formal submissions

Once our initial round of consultation is done, we will use the results to prepare a Draft Cultural Plan, which will be placed on public exhibition.
