Being registered on BNG Conserve is a compulsory requirement to be involved in, or successful in tendering. BNG Conserve manages contractor insurance and work, health and safety process checks.

Contracting with us
Before entering into a contract with us, make sure you read the Statement of Business Ethics(PDF, 172KB).
Contract register
We're required to publish a register of current contracts with private sector bodies that are valued at more than $150,000.
The information we publish includes:
- contractor's name and any related company
- start date and duration of contract
- goods and/or services to be provided
- amount payable to the contractor
- any renegotiation provisions
- tender methods if applicable
- payment provisions for operational or maintenance services under the contract.
Public information
When we enter into a private sector contract to provide services to the public on its behalf, we are required to have immediate access to certain information in our contractor records.
Under Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (NSW) we must be able to access information that:
- relates directly to the performance of services by the contractor
- is collected by the contractor from members of the public who are provided or offered the services
- is received by the contractor from Council to enable it to provide the services.
Contractors are not required to provide Council with access to information that:
- reveals your financing arrangements, financial modelling, cost structure or profit margins
- the contractor is prohibited from disclosing to us under any Australian law
- if revealed to Council, could place the contractor at a substantial commercial disadvantage, in present or future dealings with us.
